As someone learned Communication Studies, I required to watch any kinds of communication products, including Korean Drama. Before, I usually just enjoy the storyline, the actors’ acting, or even the camera angle. However, now it’s quite difficult to focus on them because of…… some Korean products in the drama is captivating my heart. 

So, when I watched Clean Up with Passion for Now where my favorite actor, Yoon Kyun-sang played a germophobic CEO of a cleaning company and Kim Yoo-jung, his co-star played his employee who’s not prone to neatness, I found Labnosh Foodshake in the drama. Even when I knew that Korea has a wide range of instant food, from noodle to rice cake but this is my first time heard of Labnosh Foodshake. So, I'm honored when Korea International Trade Association through their Global Marketing Panel, choose me as their expert panel for reviewing Labnosh Foodshake. 

Labnosh is produced by Egnis, Korean food startup, specializing in meal replacement such as food shake, food bar, and liquid meal. Perhaps do you know ‘ppali ppali’ culture, when Korean always having more hectic, tighter, faster, and more productive schedule, yeah one of reason Labnosh exist is to appreciate their precious time and provide a healthy meal in a very convenient way. 

My first impression about Labnosh Foodshake is… very light meal. I’ve got Labnosh Foodshake Starter Kit from kmall24.com, international e-commerce for K-Fans managed by Korea International Trade Association. Delivered in less than a week with neat packaging, there’s 5 bottles of Labnosh Foodshake: grain, milk tea, coffee, cookies and cream, and chocolate flavors. 

My favorite flavor is cookies and cream. It tastes like biscuit and creamy milk, also remind me of Indonesian's favorite cereal. My least favorites are coffee and milk tea. Those flavors are too strong to handle for a meal replacement. I think its need to put less coffee or milk tea flavoring. 

My concern about Labnosh is no halal certification for their product. If Egnis as Labnosh’s brand holder have halal certification for Labnosh, it will be easier to be marketed towards South East Asia. And also, even when Labnosh provides English product introduction in kmall24.com, I worried for non-Korean using Labnosh product because their entire product introduction is in Korean. I guess Labnosh can fully reach their potential foreign customers by starting to use English subtitle in their Korean Instagram posts. Also making quizzes to international audiences who watching on-going sponsored Korean' drama will be help to sell Labnosh Foodshake in SEA countries.
